Role Overview
The Field Engineer supports Theator’s hospital deployments by ensuring our units remain healthy, online, and recording.
This role combines hands on work in hospitals and operating rooms with ongoing monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance. You will work closely with hospital technicians and internal teams to keep systems running reliably in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform on site support and maintenance visits in hospitals and OR environments
- Install and configure units (software setup at the office and physical setup on site) as needed
- Monitor deployed units and follow up on offline or non recording units
- Troubleshoot common operational issues (for example power issues or disconnected video cables)
- Coordinate with hospital staff to restore service quickly and professionally
- Maintain clear documentation and unit status updates
- Participate in on call coverage for operational support

- Issues are identified quickly and resolved with minimal disruption

Requirements
- Technical orientation and basic computer skills
- Comfortable following documented procedures and checklists
- Strong attention to detail and organized work habits (tracking, documentation, follow up)
- Clear, calm communication in high pressure environments
- Ability to prioritize when multiple issues occur at the same time
- Flexibility for mixed hours when needed (early mornings or evenings) and participation in on call
Nice to Have
- Experience in field support, service, installations, or technical operations
- Experience working in hospitals or other complex environments
- Familiarity with basic video cable or signal troubleshooting
- Strong English communication
