Company Overview

Terray Therapeutics is a venture-backed biotechnology company led by pioneers and long-time leaders in artificial intelligence, synthetic chemistry, automation, and nanotechnology. We’re generating chemical data purpose-built to propel drug discovery into the information age — and we’re doing it on a larger scale and faster than has ever before been possible.

Our closed loop system generates precise chemical datasets at unrivaled scale that work seamlessly with AI to systematically map biochemical interactions between small molecules and causes of disease. Iterative cycles of virtual molecular design and experimentation power AI and machine learning models, which in turn guide the next cycle of design. With a chemistry engine that measures billions of interactions daily and becomes increasingly precise with every cycle, we can answer an unprecedented array of questions — deriving insights that enable us to predictably create drugs for patients in need.

Position Summary

Terray is seeking a Manager or Senior Manager of Compound Management to lead our sample management team. The lead will be tasked with designing, operating, and maintaining our entire compound workflow. Expectations include compound ordering, solubilization, archiving and retrieval via our automated store, and compound replenishment. These activities will facilitate an efficient process to store compounds at the milligram to gram scale and deliver them for library synthesis and resynthesis. In addition to performing these tasks for Terray’s internal compounds the lead is expected to manage our partnership compounds with equal diligence. The lead is expected to implement compound handling procedures that ensure our collection maintains the highest degree of chemical and biological integrity and will work to seamlessly integrate internal delivery of these compounds across multiple departments. The Compound Management lead will report to the Head of Production and will work closely with our Automation department to implement state of the art technologies, automation, and validation for compound stewardship and handling. As Terray continues to grow, the Compound Management lead is expected to staff their organization to keep pace.
