Nosis Bio

About Nosis Bio Nosis Bio is an early-stage biotechnology company pioneering the future of receptor-targeted RNA therapeutics. By combining an AI-powered drug delivery and design platform with deep learning, we are unlocking the next generation of siRNA medicines. We are an all-scientist team of biologists, chemists, and machine learning experts that believe targeted extrahepatic delivery is the key to making RNA therapies the standard-of-care for chronic diseases. We combine deep expertise in receptor biology, generative AI, and high-throughput in vivo data generation to exponentially accelerate the development of RNA therapeutics for new tissues.

The Role We are seeking a highly driven and strategic Project Leader to spearhead one of our key therapeutic programs. You will be the central operational and scientific driver for this program, responsible for steering it from target initiation through to meaningful developmental milestones.

Sitting at the intersection of biology, chemistry, and machine learning, you will ensure our cross-functional teams operate efficiently and hit critical objectives. You will also collaborate closely with executive leadership to ensure that day-to-day program execution seamlessly aligns with the overarching clinical strategy and defined Target Product Profiles (TPPs).

Key Responsibilities

  • Program Leadership: Lead cross-functional project teams to define scope, objectives, and timelines for a key therapeutics program, driving it from initiation to critical developmental milestones.

  • Cross-Functional Execution: Develop and maintain integrated project plans, ensuring tight alignment across internal research efforts (In Vivo, Biology, Chemistry, and ML).

  • Strategic Alignment: Partner with clinical and technical leadership to ensure program milestones and scientific outputs support commercial viability and the clinical success criteria of our early-stage assets.

  • Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify potential scientific risks, operational bottlenecks, and resource constraints; develop actionable mitigation strategies to keep the program on track.

  • KOL & Advisory Board Leadership: Identify, build, and maintain deep relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and clinical experts across our target indications to validate and refine our internal product strategy.

  • Communication & Reporting: Serve as the hub for program information. Facilitate regular meetings, capture key decisions, and translate complex updates into clear status reports for the executive team and external stakeholders when necessary.

Qualifications

  • Education: Advanced degree (PhD strongly preferred) in a Life Sciences discipline. BS/MS candidates with exceptional, highly relevant experience will be considered.

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry, ideally with exposure to early-stage, fast-paced environments. Must have a proven track record of managing early-stage drug discovery or translational programs.

  • Domain Expertise: Strong foundational understanding of targeted therapeutics; specific experience with RNAi/siRNA or advanced drug delivery modalities is a significant plus.

  • Leadership Chops: Highly motivated problem-solver capable of leading without direct authority. Must be team-oriented and able to comfortably "speak the language" of biologists, chemists, and data scientists.

Location: Ability to work on-site at our lab spaces in the Research Park at Marina Village (Alameda, CA).
