About the Role:

We are seeking a RA / Sr. RA to conduct chemical synthesis of peptides and performing in vitro assays to evaluate the pharmacokinetics (PK) and pharmacodynamics (PD) properties of therapeutic candidates. The successful candidate will have hands-on experience with peptide chemistry and will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to support various drug discovery projects.

Responsibilities

● Perform peptide synthesis on Multi Pep synthesizer

● Perform in vitro biochemical assays with peptides and proteins

● Maintenance of chemistry instruments and supplies

What we’re looking for:

● Ability to work on site in our lab spaces located in the Research Park at Marina Village (Alameda, CA)

● Experience with solid phase peptide synthesis

● Experience with automated peptide synthesizers (Multi Pep or similar) highly preferred

● Experience with performing in vitro biochemical assays

● Nice to have: Previous experience with high-throughput screening workflow

● Motivated and proactive with strong problem-solving skills

● Ability to multitask and manage several projects simultaneously

● Team-oriented and open to collaboration across scientific disciplines
