We are seeking a Production Manufacturing Associate, passionate about advancing biology to help execute our daily manufacturing processes under minimal supervision. As a part of our operations team, you will play a central role in bringing our groundbreaking technology for scalable production of long, perfect synthetic DNA to market.

Essential Responsibilities:
- Lab Execution: Indecently execute production operations according to defined procedures in a high-throughput lab while maintaining product quality and reliability.
- Oligo Synthesizer: Operate automated laboratory equipment, including synthesizers, Chip assembly and QC, and Beads sorting to ensure the timely manufacturing of oligos.
- LIMS: Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of production runs and deviations in appropriate information management systems and batch records.
- Documentation: Draft and review manufacturing SOPs, work instructions, and production batch records.
- Lab Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and minor troubleshooting of production equipment.
- Weekend Support: Ability to work swing shift: 4:00 PM-12:30 AM, Thursday-Sunday, to maintain production continuity.
Essential Candidate Profile :
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in molecular biology, biochemistry, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Candidate Qualifications:
- Experience or equivalent training with the operation of oligo synthesizers.
- Experience or equivalent training with reagent preparation
- Experience or passion to work in the startup environment – ability to anticipate and adapt to change and maintain order.
Salary and Benefits:
The hourly rate for this role is: $36.00 - $41.00. This is an on-site position based in Menlo Park, California. Final compensation also includes bonus, equity, and benefits. Specific offer packages are determined by multiple factors, including candidate skill, experience, expertise, and location.
