As a LIMS Software Developer, you will be responsible for supporting and improving our in-house LIMS and scheduling systems in a fast-paced production environment. You will work directly with wet-bench scientists to automate lab processes, visualizations, and analyses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with scientists to automate lab protocols and analyze results
  • Develop reports, visualization, and dashboards for QC and process monitoring
  • On-call support for operations on a rotation

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor of Science (or equivalent) in relevant discipline such as computer science or bioinformatics
  • 1-2 years of experience with Python

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

  • 1-2 years of life sciences industry experience
  • Python web development - Flask, SQLAlchemy
  • Experience with data science and/or data mining
  • JavaScript
  • DevOps / Cloud computing, especially AWS (Batch, Lambda)
  • Familiarity with LIMS and/or wet-lab protocols

Salary and Benefits:

The annual base salary compensation for this role, if based in California is: $105,000 - $135,000. Compensation may be different in other locations. Final compensation also includes bonus, equity and benefits. Specific offer packages are determined by multiple factors, including candidate skill, experience, expertise, and location.
